Fredskorpset is a Norwegian organisation. Its overall objective is to promote lasting improvements in the economic, social and political conditions of developing countries. This is to be achieved by facilitating partnerships and exchange of personnel between organisations and institutions in Norway and countries in the South, as well as among organisations and institutions in the South.

The aims for the programs are to promote the transfer of expertise, creating involvement and raising awareness of developmental issues in Norway and in the South.

KARE Development Link is a project made by Katwe council in Uganda and Re council in Norway . In 2007 two persons from each country take part in the project.
